There is growing awareness about the challenges posed by increasing levels of natural resource use. The International Resource Panel and its strategic partner, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), are two organizations that analyse natural resource extraction and use, as well as the environmental, economic and social implications thereof. Both organizations have recently published their research findings, providing scenarios for the coming decades in the IRP’s Global Resource Outlook 2019 and the OECD’s Global Material Resources Outlook to 2060.

Bruno Oberle (IRP) and Ruben Bibas (OECD) will present their analyses and policy recommendations at a webinar organised by the United States'. Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA). The webinar will take place on 23 May 2019 from 3:00pm-4:30pm GMT.
