The fourth-annual REMADE® Circular Economy Technology Summit & Conference, hosted by the REMADE Institute®, will take place on March 11-12, at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC.
Organized by the Institute in partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, the 2026 REMADE® Conference is an international thought-leadership event attracting 250–300+ participants including industry practitioners, researchers, policymakers, business and NGO leaders, as well as early-career professionals and students, with 50–60 peer-reviewed sessions addressing key circular economy challenges and innovations.
Keynoters for 2026 include two distinguished IRP Panel members :
- Paul Ekins, Professor of Resources and Environmental Policy, UCL Institute for Sustainable Resources, University College London, and lead author of the recently released IRP report, “Financing the Responsible Supply of Energy Transition Minerals for Sustainable Development”
- Heinz Schandl, Senior Science Leader, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), in Australia
Additional keynoters include:
- Nancy Bocken, Professor in Sustainable Business & Circular Economy, Maastricht University in the Netherlands
- John Shegerian, CEO, ERI, the largest electronic waste recycling company in the U.S.
- Billy Frank, Vice President Sales & Marketing, Caterpillar Inc., Remanufacturing Division
The objective of REMADE’s annual conference is to advance the conversation on a circular approach and how it can support nations in meeting their energy, environmental, manufacturing competitiveness, supply chain resilience, and economic growth goals.
